**Last updated:** October 17, 2026
Pod Patrol (“Pod Patrol,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by PPPO LLC, provides a mobile study app and related websites for podiatrists and podiatric trainees. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
If you have questions about this policy, contact us at podpatrolpodcast@gmail.com.
Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information, depending on how you use the Service:
- **Account information.** When you sign in, we may collect your email address and authentication details through our providers (including Supabase Auth and, where available, Sign in with Apple or Google). We do not store your full account password in plain text.
- **Waitlist and contact information.** If you join a waitlist or contact us, we collect information you provide such as your name and email address.
- **Payment and subscription information.** In-app purchases and subscriptions on Apple devices are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to help manage entitlements. We do not receive or store your full payment card number. We may retain subscription status, product identifiers, and related purchase metadata needed to unlock features.
- **Study and usage data.** As you use the app we may record activity such as quizzes taken, answers selected, scores, flashcard progress, saved or starred items, points/ranks, preferences, and similar learning data so we can provide progress tracking and personalization.
- **Device and technical data.** We may collect device identifiers or locally stored tokens (for example to restore purchases or remember settings), app version, and basic diagnostic information needed to operate and secure the Service.
- **Content feedback.** If you report a problem with a question or other content, we may store the report details you submit along with related item identifiers.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve Pod Patrol;
- Create and secure your account and authenticate you;
- Process subscriptions, restore purchases, and manage access to paid or promotional features (including beta or lifetime access);
- Personalize your study experience and track progress;
- Respond to support requests and content reports;
- Communicate with you about the Service (for example account, beta, or waitlist messages);
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues;
- Comply with legal obligations.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in limited circumstances:
- **Service providers.** With vendors that process data on our behalf to run the Service, such as Supabase (database, authentication, and related backend services), RevenueCat (subscription entitlements), Apple (App Store billing and Sign in with Apple), and hosting or infrastructure providers we use to deliver the app and website.
- **Legal compliance.** When required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Pod Patrol or others.
- **Business transfers.** In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- **Aggregated or de-identified data.** We may share information that has been aggregated or de-identified so it cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
Your Study and Performance Data
We treat your individual study and performance data as private. We will not publish or share your personal performance data publicly in a way that identifies you. We may use study data in aggregate to improve content and features.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account or personal information by emailing us; we will respond within a reasonable time, subject to legal exceptions and technical limits (for example, purchase records Apple controls).
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Payment card data for App Store purchases is handled by Apple and is not stored on our servers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or similar state laws, including the right to request access to or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and to direct us not to sell personal information (we do not sell personal information). To exercise these rights, email podpatrolpodcast@gmail.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data, and to data portability, subject to applicable law. Contact us to make a request.

If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, post the updated policy in the app and/or on our website. Your continued use of Pod Patrol after a change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
