Dr. Ashim Wadehra is a double board-certified foot and ankle surgeon based in Birmingham, Michigan. He’s certified by both the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in foot and rearfoot reconstruction, and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. At his core, Dr. Wadehra is passionate about helping people move with less pain, fewer complications, and more clarity around their treatment options.
After studying at the University of Michigan, Dr. Wadehra earned his medical degree from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 2016. He went on to complete a surgical residency at Beaumont Wayne (now Corewell Health) under Dr. Lawrence Fallat, followed by a fellowship at the American Health Network in Indianapolis, where he trained under Dr. Mike Miller and Dr. Doug Blackledge.
He spent the early part of his career in a traditional orthopedic group, performing a wide range of foot and ankle surgeries. Over time, he became increasingly drawn to minimally invasive surgical techniques—procedures that allow patients to walk the same day, avoid large incisions, and heal without orthopedic hardware. That passion led him to open his own private practice, The Art of Foot & Ankle, where all surgeries are performed in-office using a modern, patient-centered approach.
Today, his work combines surgical precision with regenerative medicine—offering options like laser therapy, shockwave treatment, and Wharton’s Jelly injections to support healing and recovery without aggressive intervention.
